Classroom Economy!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Yesterday I introduced a new year-long activity called Classroom Economy. It's a cross-curricular unit that teaches students economic concepts, as well as using math skills on a daily basis.

This new unit is based on a successful model from an elementary school in Michigan. The teacher who designed the unit is listed on Scholastic's Top Teachers!

Here is a copy of the letter that went home yesterday. If you did not get a copy or need a new one, simply download it here:

Classroom Economy Letter

If you have any questions we can discuss it at the Parent/Teacher conference tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Mr. LaFrossia
